Installing Windows Millennium Edition (ME) Released in 2000, Windows Millennium Edition (or Windows Me) was the final operating system in Microsoft's Windows 9x line. Aimed at home users, Windows Me offered a more user-friendly experience compared to its predecessors. While not as well-regarded as other Windows versions, Windows Me introduced some significant features that carried over to future iterations. However, due to its stability issues, it was overshadowed by the more successful Windows XP released in 2001.
